"TOP 5 OF THE WEEK" by GL0WKiD's Generation X [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio (9th June 2015)

This week's showcase covered again different aspects of Nuskool Hardcore vibes dressed up with Oldskool flavour as always incl. Hardcore Breaks, Mutant Bass, Footwork and Jungle vibes with lots of new releases and fresh tracks/promos from Bizzy B, Amiga Breaks, Kode 5 Recordings, The Renegades and an unreleased gem from Enzyme, taken from the golden era of mid00s in the Hardcore Breaks scene. Some interesting stuff you need to dig it and a strong proof that the scene is alive as the spirit of production & raving remains the same!

So here the TOP 5 of the Week as featured on the latest GenX show, with tracks in no particular order.

05. John B - Pressure (The Renegades Mix)

One of the most talented Footwork producers at the moment, based in US, and running his own label called Dynamix Records, offering rave mentalism with his own unique way! This is The Renegades and this remix on John B track is taken from his personal 'Artillery Vol.1' pack which consists of 6 tracks - available on free download.

04. Gareth Monks - Flight (Piano Abuse #3)

Gareth's talent in blending & playing with oldskool samples is really outstanding! Tracks like 'Manix Stampede' & 'Acen's Urban Breakdown' . This one here is the 3rd chapter of his personal piano abuse and meets with classic female vox & piano melodies of 90s!

Njoy the 'Flight' ...

03. Amiga Breaks - So Sweet  [KODE 5 RECORDINGS]

Must be his week really.. After a radio interview and the 1st radio presentation of 'Journey's End' on last week's show, Timo had finally released this 10track Album of him on Dark Til Dawn Records and this gem in here titled 'So Sweet' which is out now on the mighty KODE 5 Recordings! The thing about it is common with a good way of speech, using Amiga Breaks beautiful atmosphere inside! Good to have such a producer in the scene all over these years!

02. Bizzy B - Dark Steppa

UK's legendary rudeboi returns with an aggressive 'Dark Steppa' scream out to all fans and  Drum & Bass believers! You can purchase more of his personal and recent production in here. More words are useless.. It's simply.. BIZZY B!!

"TOP 8 OF THE WEEK" by GL0WKiD's Generation X [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio (17MAR.2015)

Here's the 'TOP 8 Of The Week' as featured on the 17th March Generation X [RadioShow] broadcasted @ Planet Rave Radio.. 2hrs full of Hardcore overdose from every direction and aspect of it, to all rave nations!
Starting up with number 8 and Sweden based producer, Captain Ravemann and his 'Rave Terrorizer' footwork breakbeat damage, while next track is made by a 16yr old producer who has already signed stuff on Kode 5 Recordings, Switchblade Digital, Dred Collective and opens his mind to provide us with Madness! Props to Liam Taylor from Russia.
In number 6, a hardcore techno bomb for 'Ladies Only' part of a 2track personal EP from US based producer CurZe 'The Wasted Ravers' (free download from Outl3t)
Next big thing comes from Nottingham's Schnez on a fresh EP which took a special airplay in the last 15minutes of the showcase. 'Keep on Ravin on EP' is out now from Long Live the Animals with the hardcore animal Schnez in total effect! Mental work in result! Worth checking out his brand new label, 3NEZ, for anyone interested for more from him.
Odessa's hadcore son Fat Frumos, a supporting producer/dj on GenX, has returned to Off Me Nut delivering 12 nuclear rave bombs of sick darkness and burnin' dancefloors. 'Jesus Raving For Your Sins' is taken from his album called 'YAD' and is definetely one of the strong highlights of this release!
In number 3 the hard leader Dave Skywalker celebrates 1k facebook followers and gives away this killer refix on Zomboy's 'Raptor'. Can't describe it.. For those wondering, can either give a listen to it on his Soundcloud page or hear the showcase and check out my reaction while dropped it. Few days left for Bangface rave earthquake and Dave will be an essential part of it!

DJ Sashay from Russia, 21 yrs old took a serious and hard mission to remix the Prodigy's rare 'Time To Get Funky & Raw'. This track was used to be played during 1993 era. Sashay has completely re-created the original track’s sound by resynthesizing each instrument from scratch, sampling classic hardcore stabs and programming drum patterns. The result is pure 303 dressed up with dark atmosphere.
Last tune to display comes from the youth conspiracy of Luffy (Hungary) and Nayim (Spain) an amazing breakbeat uplifting roller true example of how Nu-Rave is alive and the future will be brighter day by day. Remix duties from Luffy himself, who has recently launched his own label Waffle Records, a Breakbeat Hardcore & Happy Hardcore label.

TOP 8 (GL0WKiD's GenerationX [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio-17th Mar.2015)

08. Captain Raveman - Rave Terrorizer

"TOP 10 OF THE WEEK" by GL0WKiD's Generation X [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio (21OCT.2014)

My latest radio show was about blending styles & genres with the key words like 'rave' and 'energy' connecting all listeners.Big Up to all once again for the kind feedback and the continuous support! So..Here's the 'TOP 10 of the Week' and tracks are put on a random selection, just to be fair with all producers cos the truth is that a section like this one is hard to be sorted out.
Starting with number 10 and DJ Wislov from Tenerife on an early 90s inspired oldschool breakbeat like 'Time To Play' (unreleased, fresh & first play on the show).
Number 9 goes to a class 'mutant raver' like Spaceface from UK and his new tune 'last Drop' on 'The Toxic Riddim EP' by Acme Bass Records, while number 8 is taken from Japanese producer Miyauchi and his happy roller featured on a wicked release like 'Speed Mania' compilation out from UP1236... Number 7 the established hardcore producer Nicky Allen continues his travels to the past and goes back to 1993 and a Reinforced classic by Nookie cooked on his well known 'breakbeat Allen hardcore stylee'.
One more human tune machine along with Nicky Allen, is Paul Cronin and as a dead prodigy fan he gives a BIG remix on the Prodigy's 'Narayan'. Weird to see a hcb remix on such a tune but works really impressive as a conclusion! Coming up next with number 5 and Casketkrasher from Netherlands, owner of an underground label like Total Destruction records promoting the sound of Happy Hardcore, Early Hardcore and his latest tune 'Break This Motherfucker' remixed by Dutch frenchcore/hardcore head, Maynor.
We return to Japan on number 4 and my friend sdhizumi who spits pure hardcore on his '90s legacy'. Banger!
Last tunes to mention come from 3 of my fav 'hardcore' producers nowadays, each one with his own music character. Number 3 is a trip to Odessa and AleX Tune 'Keep Yourself' as a part of his fresh 'Ultimate Style EP' out now from Dance Corps on free download..
Some weeks ago i got the chance (or luck maybe) to win one of the 5 limited digital copies of a VIP rework on Dave Skywalker's 'Pandora', made by himself. Skywalker can't be described enough as his work is really respected such as his solo projects and his personal NDR Recordings label. A true legend! Number 1 goes to a young [aged] producer/dj/label manager who has already succeed doing a great success over UK, Japan and so many other places delivering hardcore on a...JAKAZiD way. It's his own secret technique and simply blows minds and burns the dancefloors. 'Have 2 Survive' is a killer nu-breakbeat hardcore tune raved inside me first time i heard it like....BOOM!

09. Spaceface - Last Drop

     [ACME BASS RECORDS]
