A great member of Greek Hardcore Breaks scene, like Orestiz returns with a fresh 'bboi hardcore' gem in the name of 'Toxic Tunes', which is available to grab on his fresh bandcamp page. SNB crew is always next to his work as far as he's already involved on 'Strictly Nuskool Vol.1' with 'Ruffatest' vibe and 'The 1k EP' with 'Wake up And See' bomb, both releases out from this Blog and various stuff also on Intensive Recordings and Hardcore Lives Records.
Unique skills and tons of talent coming out from his hardcore brain! Total respect and proudly greek spirit, Orestiz has put his own character to the Nu-Rave scene all over these years!

'Toxic Tunes' was given 1st exclusive airplay on my radio show some days ago, with a great responce from the crew heard it for the very first time!

VIMBREAKSBRONZE01:: MOTIV - Be With Me EP [out on V.I.M. Records]

An established electronic label from Greece like Very Importan Music Records (V.I.M.) has launched a new series of Bronze Edition releases focusing on oldskoolish Rave & Jungle Breaks from various producers in the scene. First release comes from greek act MOTIV offering two dancefloor rave breaks tracks (133 bpm) step on his well know stylee and dressed up with chilled unique atmosphere perfectly for the night.

 'Be With Me EP' is the title of the release which is out now featuring two tracks in the name of 'Be With Me'  and 'Release Me'.. Just let yourself moving on this galaxy of deep emotions and oldskool memories. Motiv knows how to do it and V.I.M how to control your electronic desire!

"TOP 5 OF THE WEEK" by GL0WKiD's Generation X [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio (23DEC. 2014)

First of all I have to send my best wishes, Merry Xmas to all rave & nu-rave crew, remain strong and always smiley! 

So.. This week's GenX showcase on Planet Rave Radio, was about 2hrs full of Jungle/Hardcore Breaks & Happy Hardcore/D&B vibes presenting also fresh and forthcoming stuff. Here's the Top 5 tunes of this week in random order, focused more to the brand new tunes.
Starting with co-owner of Held2Ransom and one of the most essentials member in the Nu-Rave scene, the man like Eddie Voyager, who has signed his 1st personal EP, forthcoming on the mighty KODE 5 Recordings, titled 'Time Warp EP' and self-titled tune is a mental nuskool breakbeat vibe. Number 4 features greek nu-rave act like Motiv on a kind of trancestep tune called 'After your Blue Eyes' part of 'Patterns EP' which is out now on White Tower Digital. Bigup to Stam, Vassilis and all greek nu-rave crew once again!
Number 3 is the happy aspect of D&B from a German producer like ['timə] and 'Old Dudes' provides some uplifting riffs and hard hitting drums full of energy. Out now on HC Recordings.

Next track to display comes from a friendly underground label like Total Destruction Records
and props to its owner Casketkrasher for the whole effort so far in there. Goreshit sets up the second part of his 'Nineties Rave Retrospective Vol.3' (first was out from his bandcamp page) and 'Enter the Funami'  is a... serious hardcore dancefloor threat!! Last tune to show off comes from Mother Russia and DJ Sashay (21yrs old) who has been supported via my radio show over the last year and finally released this attractive hardcore breaks like 'Underground Culture' on the KODE 5 Recordings.

"TOP 10 OF THE WEEK" by GL0WKiD's Generation X [RadioShow] @ Planet Rave Radio (02DEC. 2014)

This week's showcase was totally Nu-Rave once again featuring fresh, promo, oldies and totally banging tunes in general covering from Hardcore Breaks to Jungle vibes!

Starting up with number 10 and a deep intelligent tech roller like 'The Age of Aquarius' from the Greek producer AlexBreako (owner of Criterion Records). This tune will be out on the greek nu-rave label White Tower Digi in about 2 weeks from now. Moving next to number 9 and a temasoooo piano breaks remix from established hcb act Neurygma on DJ Wislov's original track 'Dragonfly' part of the Dragonfly EP out now on www.sonicfortress.com. Dig this one 5 essential tunes inside this release! Number 8 is owned to a talented Junglist like Msymiakos from Norway, who has also some greek roots and a BIG Amen Tribute to the legendary bouzouki musician Giorgos Zambetas from Greece. 'Δώστε μου ενα Αμην' is translated in greek like 'Give me an Amen'. Sick really and great result using some bouzouki and Zambetas vox samples. Get into it! Going to number 7, but remaining to this kind of Greek spirit as Motiv (GR) deliver a sensational d&b gem like 'Come Alive', which takes a 140 dopeness by Orestiz. Watch out the drop on this one! 

 USBS, after entering the top 6 remixes on DJ Fat Controllers 'In Complete Darkness Remix Contest', he's focusing on the hard work, preparing some forthcoming stuff for Hardcore Lives Records. One of them is 'Electrotronic' which was featured on 11th November's GenX show and now 'Free' is a new promo of him and also an uplifing roller, which will set you freeee and reach you up to the sky! Number 5 is a 6yr old tune like 'Make a Move' from Motiv's ex project called Rememberrave, which was the pioneer act in the hcb genre in Greece along with Orestiz. Props to Stam, Vasilis and Orestis and every local spirit, who's feeling it!

Number 4 is a mental jungle anthem like 'All of a Sudden' from Canada's junglist DJ Rolling Paper aka DayLife905. Class vibe!! Number 3 is dedicated to a well known Nu-Rave tune machine, captain Paul Cronin who's style is getting bigger day by day and C'mon GOOOOO..ya names not down..everybody in the place! Sick mashupin! In other words it's a fresh dish coming out from Paul's kitchen with a strict rule to dance ONLY.

Last 2 tunes to display come from one of the most respected, established and talented producers/djs and members in the Nu-Rave scene, the man like Nefti from Poland who's style is unique and adorable really! And...Anyone wondering who that Rave Force is? Well..a kind of a more Hardcore Breaks aspect from Nefti..

- "Why Did You Suddenly Disappear?" 

- " Cos Music is my Life" can be a perfect question-answer to the dancefloor! Massive tunes that are stuck to head & heart!!

superbly!I look forward to upcoming releases from them!

1.Motiv,After Your Blue Eyes

Nice crisp and punchy drums with classic breaks accompanying slide into a lush piece of early millennium trance.
If you go back to early 00's John B,this would not sound out of place in one of his epic sets.
Sliding more modern influences into the tune,this is as hard as it is nice,lush and musical.
Beautiful pads and synths do not take away from the growling bass thats underneath!
DJ's do not sleep on this!This needs to be in your sets! - 7/10

2.Rehabilitation Units,Final

Nice mellow intro builds nicely into some rolling DnB beats with the pads swirling and building.
Reminds me of the 80's and some old movie soundtracks,again sounding like that good ol John B style.
This ones not so much for the dancefloor but would be lush on a long car journey or games console session.
Really nice use of arps and synths! - 5/10

3.Rehabilitation Units,Monday Morning

More great Trance & Bass from this EP,this one starts with great synths and keys slowly filtering in a half
tempo drumbeat before dropping a dirty,spitting bassline,then the synths return but at the same time feel the
sub that accompanies it!more filtered drum breaks and spitting bass,
this is a great track that will grow on you the more you hear it! - 7/10

Overall,this EP is pure quality,pushing a sound we don't hear enough of!
This is musical Drum & Bass and if you're a fan of John B or Camo & Krooked I suggest you check this out!
I'm going to give this EP overall - 7/10

Here is the TOP 10 selection of this week (tunes in random position) including mainly some freshness and forthcoming stuff covering Breaks & Bass vibes!
Starting with Australian D-Funk's jump beats 'In The Front' out in July 2014 on his label Up:Start Music, then a lovely tune entitled 'Breakbeat' from Spanish Funk U remixed by Alt-A (out now on Beat By Brain) following by The Rumblist dirty bass 'Getting Funky' part of his brand new EP 'Rumblisms Pt.1' on Kut Off Records.
We Are Noize, is the new power team in Bass scene, with MaxiM [The Prodigy] as frontman serving something unusual and out of trends like Bass from another dimension, could be perfectly described. A true example of that is 'Bad Gyal' as part of forthcoming 'Meat EP' . 
Transfering to a d&b vibe now...Motiv's 'Come Alive' talked inside me for the very first time, when my friend Stam from Motiv sent me this promo to play it out.. A sweet d&b tune part of a 4track EP forthcoming on his label, WhiteTower Digi.
Moving to the great chapter Sub Slayers, and 21yrs old Toronto Is Broken, one of the most outstanding Bass producers at the moment, ready to release his 1st personal Album in October on Sub Slayers. 'Die For You' is an emotional roller, due to amazing vox by Reeson driven by TIB's strong basslines!
Talking about strong basslines worth to mention 3 established producers/djs, who know very well their tunes..
First of all Sanxion, who can be called like 'Son of Heaviness' as already mentioned it during the show and '2 Bad 2 Drop' explains everything about that! And then, The Flashback Project, who's defo on fire lately, delivering class rave bass tunes. This time ragga meets bass on 'Nice Up The Dance EP' [out now on Downbeat]. Closing with Zombie Robot filthy drops on a banging remix to 'Girls Dem' featured on Radiokillaz big EP, out now on Passenger Records.
I'm finishing my review, with a fresh track I've discovered last week and comes from German producer/dj, Tobe Tronic. Its called 'Whizzl Piano' and is calling all nu-ravers and of course label managers to focus on his lovely unique style. 140bpm nu-rave/strong basslineS/oldskool flavour and pianos.
