Dream Frequency remastered back catalogue & unreleased cuts

With Bandcamp Day fast approaching on 2nd of May, rave legend Dream Frequency is blessing fans with a long-awaited treasured request: their entire back catalogue among some previously unreleased material, fully remastered for 2025

UK Dance pioneer Ian Bland, the driving force behind Dream Frequency, has revisited the golden era of 1990-1995, giving fresh life to anthems that defined a generation of ravers. Following a message through his social, Ian Bland stated:

"Hey Guys , been asked for my back catalogue SO many times so I've Remastered all the Dream Frequency Tracks just for you! Totally Digitally Remastered in my studio for 2025. Premium Listening (And Raving !! lol). Thanks for all your support."

There is a large variety of iconic records like the chart-toppers 'Feel So Real' and 'Take Me', or the 'Love, Peace and Harmony EP,' featuring vocals by the late Denise Johnson, alongside dancefloor classics like 'Techno Worship' and the rare vinyl-only cut 'Satisfaction'.

One of the biggest surprises comes in the form of the ultra-rare 'One Nation EP,' now reissued with a 2025 update, a remix from Blame, and bonus tracks 'Free My Mind' and 'Just A Rub A Dub' - the latter never saw an official digital release.

And it doesn't stop there.

Among all these beaties, there is a full collection of 16 unreleased live tracks, recorded at legendary venues like Pleasuredome, Amnesia Wedding, Kelly's, Bowlers, The Orbit, Rezerection, and more. Obviously, all tracks have been remastered with the same care.
Worth to name a few of them:

  • 'Angels Intro' (unreleased PA track 1993)
  • 'Angels Song' (unreleased PA track 1993)
  • 'Beat Pound' (unreleased PA track 1992) Hit man and her performance )
  • 'Electricity' (unreleased PA track 1993)
  • 'Euro' (unreleased PA track 1994.)
  • 'Feel so Real' alt version 1992 Unreleased
  • 'Feel the Music' (unreleased PA track 1994)
  • 'Get on Up' (1994 unreleased re master)
  • 'H Techno' (unreleased PA track 1994
  • 'Let's Dance' (unreleased track 1994
  • 'Mass' (unreleased PA track 1994

  • 'The Creator' (unreleased PA track 1992)
  • 'Unity' (unreleased PA track 1994)
  • 'Your Love is Real' (Unreleased Pa track 1992)

One of the founding members of UK rave energy brings out his luminous productions for an enormous remaster project, appropriate for every oldskool DJ and fan.

With Bandcamp waiving its fees on the upcoming Bandcamp Day on 2nd of May, 100% of every purchase will go directly to the artists making it the perfect moment to show support and celebrate in this case a true legend of the scene. Mark your calendars. May 2 is the..Dream Frequency Day!

[VIDEO] Dream Frequency first ever demo tape - 1990

Brace yourself for an indelible piece of gold now.
Recently, the mighty Ian Bland of the legendary Dream Frequency has discovered a tape from his treasure, that is actually the very first even demo tape that was sent directly to Nick Halkes.

And that one off try was successfully ended with his first signing and the rest is history.
On the video above you can check out a sneak preview of four tracks - some of them unreleased. The sound is solid and anyone can realize Bland's 80s synthpop/new wave influences on tunes such as 'Almost Medieval'.

A very interesting video to watch, furthermore Bland's reaction makes it quintessential.

Dream Frequency Mix at 'High On Hope pres. Out There' (10th Aug.2024)

The 35-year-old established High On Hope returned for their last outdoor event of this year living and breathing the magic vibe of the Gisburn Forest.
A massive rave with an exquisite line-up of DJs such as Rob Tissera, DJ Faydz, Acid Alf and last but not least the man like Dream Frequency (a.k.a. Ian Bland) who went completely ecstatic among the others.
Suffice to mention that one of the first Dream Frequency releases ever was 'Live The Dream' back in 1990 - a homage to the iconic Blackburn rave.
Bland has been always heartful with this vibe and his latest set for the High On Hope went down a storm as expected!

" WHAT another MAGICAL night in Gisburn forest. Such a pleasure and honour playing for you Tommy - High on Hope, out there , it’s where it all began for all of us , the Blackburn Acid House , everyone played a blinder - Danny Dee, Acid Alf, Infared , Matty Robinson, DJ Faydz, Rob Tissera and most important you ace ravers !! Ultra-Sonic & Dream Frequency for the first time in history

Two very good pals and absolute legends within the scene, join the forces in order to deliver the most powerful album you've heard in the last couple of years. A concept that it's been tripping inside their minds for almost a decade, is now set to become true. Driven by their passion, big skills, modern techniques and most of all love from and for their fans, Ian Bland and Mallorca Lee or even better Dream Frequency and Ultra-Sonic, are calling you all to enter their Kickstarter campaign in order to make it happen.

"Our intentions were to make a track that sounded exactly like Dream Frequency & Ultra-Sonic would in your head. We had so much fun working in the studio together and loved using recording techniques from back in the day to get the best out our old synths, drum machines and samples. Straight after we wanted to write even more tracks, but we were just too busy touring"

So right after the successful experiment of their collab in 'Take Me Away' (with Sherill Hartill vocals inclusion as well), the big gents of Oldskool have announced a 13-track album to come out in limited hardcopies of CD and Vinyl with various pledge options.
For every fan of them and every '90s raver who's still supporting and breathing the oxygen of Rave.

"Now with your help we can deliver a limited edition, Ultra-Sonic & Dream Frequency album direct to your door, giving Ultra-Frequency the release it truly deserves. You know our love for the scene, our credentials, discography and if you backed either of our previous Kickstarter's you will agree the quality of the final products we delivered, the strength of our music, the time and effort put into every aspect, from its concept to completion, was second to none. We have also learned a great deal from our previous Kickstarters and know how to make this one even better, from the time it all takes, postage, proper packaging, printing, to even sending you a digital copy of the finished album to enjoy while waiting for your limited edition, signed digi-pack CD and Gatefold, double Vinyl to arrive."

DREAM FREQUENCY Special '30' LP via Kickstarter

You make me feel...so real...so real...so real!

Dream Frequency. A project, a band, that has filled the dancefloor with the right energy playing out this classic 1992 anthem and even lots of others such as 'Take Me' or 'Good Times', the eminent collabs with the established vocalist Debbie Sharp, or touring in US and Australia with The Prodigy, plus witness the biggest Japanese rave back in the day playing in front of 55,000 nuttah ravers as well as participating on big brands & festivals such as Street Rave Bowlers, Hanger 13, The Metro, The Fubar, Circus Circus, Amnesia, Galactica, Fantazia and Rezerection, Kelly’s...

Above board, there are so much praise and credits to give on the Dream Frequency work over the last years within the scene. Words that
wouldn't fit into a certain blog about the man like Ian Bland, the main brain behind Dream Frequency. Something bigger than a project, which celebrates 30 years of life this year! Incredible isn't it?

Wanna get more satisfaction from the North of UK then?

And we can now inform you that the genious Ian Bland has recently set up a Kickstarter crowdfunding in order to celebrate DF 30s with a special and ideal release, as huge as it can get. A collector's item for anyone who's been fan of this groundbreaking act, a piece of the Rave history of the past and present. And his plan is to come out on limited CD, limited Vinyl with unlimited love; all in order to pay homage to the Dream Frequency marvellous history!
Check above his official words & statement about his forthcoming 'celebration'.

Ian Bland:

"I'm lucky to have worked with some amazing performers on this album, from the powerful vocal range of Sherie Hartill, the spine-tingling vocals of Tameka Jackson and a lady who needs no introduction, the first lady of DF, the legend Debbie Sharp. These ladies are a force to be reckoned with and I hold nothing but respect for them for producing some goosebump moments on the tracks. Plus a special guest appearance from Skilf as he lays down his own unique lyrical flow on the track Roller coasting, Add to all that, the super talented vocalist and artist Luke Neptune smashes it out of the park on Keeps on playin!

As an extra bonus, there will be remixes from four of my good friends, a legend of the rave scene Rob Tissera with his infectious energy takes it to the next level with his remix of Take Me. Feel So Real is launched into 2020 by one of THE original oldskoolers and top 100 Beatport artist K69. One of Beatherders finest Dave Heaton and all-round good egg brings it home with his driving tech dub of one of our classics and I'm excited to team up with Mr Rejueve himself Si Frater as we smash the massive club anthem "Rejuvenation" often sung by the packed crowds at Beaverworks Mills,

We also have a world exclusive - for the first time in our 30 year history Ultrasonic and Dream Frequency have joined forces with their first-ever track. A force to be reckoned with!!!! Hardcore meets hands in the air vocal piano. Here we, here we, here we F*k*ng go!!!!

There are 20 new tracks in total, ranging from screaming rave anthems, uplifting vocal vibes and a few surprises too!

MAKE SOME NOISE FOR YOURSELVES!

From full-on rave anthems, crazy costumes and energetic stage show, DF have always "brought the noise" and I would love to do the same with this album.
I have put my heart and soul into every track, I'm SO proud, it's a definite NO FILLERS, ONLY KILLERS !! kind of album.

Dream Frequency "30" will be meticulously produced by myself using the latest mastering and production techniques from my own studio and 30 years in the game as an artist and producer.
You are only 30 once! so to make sure all the packages are all five stars, please be assured I have carefully sourced all our suppliers and designers for the quality of the work they produce. (We aim to have delivery of the packages late September/early Oct as it takes 6 weeks for the vinyl to be manufactured, but we will keep everyone in the loop with regular communications as to where we are in the manufacturing process)"
