Jay Strata explores three years in the mid 1980s through the medium of three tracks- 1984, 1985 and 1986 1984 combines classic early House kicks, Toms, soaring melodies, Orchestra strike notes and quirky vocal samples, talking it back it the days of the Chicago pioneers. 1985 is a bouncy Electro/House Jacker with Adonis/Steve Hurley style riffs and intricate overlapping beats straight from the warehouse raves. A catchy vocal refrain adds to the authentic vibe. Imagine Frankie Knuckles dropping this at one of his legendary all-nighters. 1986 features a vocal rendition of the EP title over a catchy, hypnotic groove with the tempo slightly lowered.
