Above board, there are so much praise and credits to give on the Dream Frequency work over the last years within the scene. Words that wouldn't fit into a certain blog about the man like Ian Bland, the main brain behind Dream Frequency. Something bigger than a project, which celebrates 30 years of life this year! Incredible isn't it?

And we can now inform you that the genious Ian Bland has recently set up a Kickstarter crowdfunding in order to celebrate DF 30s with a special and ideal release, as huge as it can get. A collector's item for anyone who's been fan of this groundbreaking act, a piece of the Rave history of the past and present. And his plan is to come out on limited CD, limited Vinyl with unlimited love; all in order to pay homage to the Dream Frequency marvellous history!

"I'm lucky to have worked with some amazing performers on this album, from the powerful vocal range of Sherie Hartill, the spine-tingling vocals of Tameka Jackson and a lady who needs no introduction, the first lady of DF, the legend Debbie Sharp. These ladies are a force to be reckoned with and I hold nothing but respect for them for producing some goosebump moments on the tracks. Plus a special guest appearance from Skilf as he lays down his own unique lyrical flow on the track Roller coasting, Add to all that, the super talented vocalist and artist Luke Neptune smashes it out of the park on Keeps on playin!

As an extra bonus, there will be remixes from four of my good friends, a legend of the rave scene Rob Tissera with his infectious energy takes it to the next level with his remix of Take Me. Feel So Real is launched into 2020 by one of THE original oldskoolers and top 100 Beatport artist K69. One of Beatherders finest Dave Heaton and all-round good egg brings it home with his driving tech dub of one of our classics and I'm excited to team up with Mr Rejueve himself Si Frater as we smash the massive club anthem "Rejuvenation" often sung by the packed crowds at Beaverworks Mills,

Getting a straight pass from his debut EP, Khyzer Zuke hits it again with a second volume, this time quite's different. From the Big Beat-ish of the first release off now to four new tracks, inspired by the Oldskool Rave movement.
A Nu-Ravey melting pot of mixed up breakbeats, euphoric feels riffs and stabs, as well as a wonderful guitar sample on the last and top highlight track from this release, called 'Tranquility'.
Loads of Oldskool Hardcore, Drum & Bass or Garage influences on this new release, mostly close to 140 bpm range for your listening pleasure. Apparently it's a dj friendly EP too.

All in all, this time brace yourselves to get tucked into this new work by Khyzer Zuke and transcend to another dimension. A dimension of good use of samples, a bit of scratching and modern techniques.

Damage Inc. Hardcore Breaks Project On Kickstarter

There comes a time when producers and labels need more support than anything else. The infamous Hardcore Breaks act, Damage Inc. having some financial issues at the moment due to the lockdown, thus they have decided to face that with some...new music.

They've recently launched a campaign on Kickstarter for an exclusive Hardcore Breaks release. The crowdfunding has almost reached the half of the goal, which is $633 in total.

When its done there will be one more campaign going straight to every backer and that's about a special 12" Vinyl release which you can decide what type of tracks you wish to see on wax. Yes! 'EVOLVE' is the new album by Leeroy Thornhill

UK established musician and ex-Prodigy hero, the man like Leeroy Thornhill has announced some useful information about his upcoming long-awaited album.
His LP is titled 'EVOLVE' comprised of 20 fresh tracks and it will come out digitally on 26th June via his Bandcamp page. It's actually a very hard-to-find concept of an album, mixed and varied of genres like bass, breaks, funk, ragga etc.

Early of this year, Leeroy has set up his own Bandcamp page and as he said, he'd like to take control of his music releases on his own. 'Crazy EP' was the first release of the year, a preview of what we'd expect to come on his new album.

The production of the original was a long way off of what I can achieve now, but the concept still excited me. I have passion for so many styles of music and I feel this is a way to express myself with no restrictions to the sound.

I am really excited about sharing the Album with you.

13Monkeys Records have picked four fresh tracks screaming out that Spain is here and Oldskool never died on their second vinyl offering so far. And beware that this one's strictly vinylized and no digital availability. In other words... Oldskool.

The record opens with the eminent Breakbeat producer, Adam Vyt who gives away big pianos and rave stabs on 'This Way'. A tune which was previewed 3 months ago on Soundcloud and finally sees the light of a release. A2 is taken from Raving Overdose Productions, who keep on the incredible piano bizniz remaining to the year 1992. A classic piano breaks hardcoreholic vibe that will attract your senses.

On the flipside, Sekret Chadow delivers his UK-Garage/2step style entitled 'Weekend'. This is the track that differs a lot with the other features of this EP.

JUNKI MUNKI - Return To Hedonism / Space Juice [2-Track Digital EP]

Somewhere in the great Nu-Rave history, there's a name that had major success in the golden era of Hardcore Breaks that was mid 00s. The legend like Junki Munki (aka Paul Kelly) has officially released his first shot on Rave Breakz label in 2005, delivering also big hits out on 2FX Records, Firewall, Nu-Basement & his own imprin Junki Munki Records. At that time he was also running his own radio show on Nu-Rave Radio.
His most successful track was probably his remix on Slipmatt's 'Hear Me', which was featured on Ministry of Sound 'Helter Skelter's 'Hardcore 2007'.

And now after 12 years, he's back, launching a Bandcamp page and announcing that he is about to release all back catalogue tracks & unreleased material from the early 00s. All of them remastered & more banging than ever!
Till then there's a 2-Track digital EP, fresh preview of the Junki Munki 2020 sound, which hasn't changed at all. Expect intensive dancefloor tracks of Hardcore Breaks, tough breakbeats, big pianos and vocals. Totally Nuskool, modern and contemporary nu-rave tracks.

This 2-Track big return is out now and available via Bandcamp for a quid, while a bit more expensive on the other major platforms and very soon you can stream it via Spotify.

This debut EP will whet your appetite for the future that will be even brighter for this label. The first volume consists of two tracks that will surely lift you up to the sky if need be. Strictly on Vinyl, cut & mastered by Finyl Tweak, the Volume 1 of Tuff Tunes has just landed to kick in the nads by all means.
Kicking off with the 'Only Some More' the first track going under 140 bpm, with the sound of early 90s, mad oldskool scratches; can be described as a modern hardcore breaks tune, one of those gems of these days.
On the flipside, the chaotic 'Like This', tuffer than tuff by 170 bpm!!
A track that has almost everything and speaks on its own. By far, one of the best tracks of the year. A vivid incarnation of '92 Hardcore Breakbeat sound. A conclusion how UK rejuvenates the underground spirit, remaining strong one way or another.

One of the leading producers within Nu-Rave, the man like Pursuit from UK, has just shared a good example of his ingenuity with no restrictions.
It's a digital album of 10 tracks all made pre-corona and during the quarantine. An album on which he raked some of his dark & joyfull productions and it's called 'Lockdown With The Lowdown'.

From the usual hardcore breaks (e.g. 'Days of Yore' and 'Cut Da Mid-Range') to the Jungle Technoish 'Brainwash' and the Hardcore Junglistic stabs of 'Darkmoor'.
The tendyncy is followed by an early 90's inspired housey tracks 'The M1' and 'Standard' to the uplifting bouncy call of 'Drop the Bass Now' and it's big pianos!
Then, we meet a classic piece of proper european Hard Trance that's retrieved from the late 90s and given now by 'Stupor'. A sublime euphoric track, conceived by Pursuit, who showcases his own tribute on that golden era.
Closing with the UK Hardcore classic sounds of 'Stompin Crew' and last but not least the efficient outro of 'Discovery', a d&b driven vibe made couple of months ago.
