Somewhere in the great Nu-Rave history, there's a name that had major success in the golden era of Hardcore Breaks that was mid 00s. The legend like Junki Munki (aka Paul Kelly) has officially released his first shot on Rave Breakz label in 2005, delivering also big hits out on 2FX Records, Firewall, Nu-Basement & his own imprin Junki Munki Records. At that time he was also running his own radio show on Nu-Rave Radio.
His most successful track was probably his remix on Slipmatt's 'Hear Me', which was featured on Ministry of Sound 'Helter Skelter's 'Hardcore 2007'.
And now after 12 years, he's back, launching a Bandcamp page and announcing that he is about to release all back catalogue tracks & unreleased material from the early 00s. All of them remastered & more banging than ever!
Till then there's a 2-Track digital EP, fresh preview of the Junki Munki 2020 sound, which hasn't changed at all. Expect intensive dancefloor tracks of Hardcore Breaks, tough breakbeats, big pianos and vocals. Totally Nuskool, modern and contemporary nu-rave tracks.
This 2-Track big return is out now and available via Bandcamp for a quid, while a bit more expensive on the other major platforms and very soon you can stream it via Spotify.
