[KFA66] Luna-C + Reeve - Risk! EP (Executive Edition) [Available From Kniteforce Again]

1/ Take Me Home.
2/ Can It Be Sweet.
3/ Remorse + Glory.
4/ A Million Miles.
(Bonus Executive Edition Only Track)
5/ Under The Sun.

Chris Howell (aka Luna-C, Reeve, Cru-l-t, and a plethora of other pseudonyms) embarks on his most ambitious musical projects with the release of the brand new 'Risk! EP' on Kniteforce Again. Combining his trademark hardcore sound under the Luna-C moniker with his more traditional song-writing persona Reeve, to compose an astounding 5-track EP of self-vocal led songs from all corners of the rave sphere, accompanied by 4 excellent music videos.

'Take Me Home' sets the ball rolling with Reeve providing rebellious yet anxiety fuelled vocals overlaid with frenetic D&B breaks and an ominous, twisted bassline. Jumping from D&B straight onto pounding, euphoric breaks driven upfront hardcore with 'Can It Be Sweet' accompanied by Chris's bittersweet vox yearning for change.

'Remorse + Glory' kicks off with gabber-esque kickdrums as the driving force, accentuated by warped synth stabs and surrealist lyrical content. Watch out for the monster trance riff midway!!! My personal favourite track, 'A Million Miles' follows next. Merging gentle guitar licks, soothing piano melodies and lilting lyrical songmanship with tearing drum & bass percussion and growling bass. A song which appears uplifting on first hearing, yet contains a sense of melancholy on further listens.

The Executive Edition of the 'Risk! EP' closes with the rousing trance, breaks, and hardcore crossover, 'Under The Sun'. Has Luna-C (and Reeve of course) achieved his ambitious goal of combining deeper lyrical content within a rave based medium with 'The Risk! EP'? You only have to listen to understand that Kniteforce Again has passed all expectations.

The Luna-C + Reeve 'Risk! EP (Executive Edition)' is available from the Kniteforce Revolution webstore for a limited time, for the $6.50 (approx £4.15) before being sold as individual tracks (with the bonus track being withdrawn from sale!!!). So be quick!!!

2/ Life Is Nothing But Timing.
3/ Always Been Much More Than That (Hardcore Maniac).
4/ Superman III.

Executive Edition Bonus Tracks
5/ Grind Everyday.
6/ I Did That By Nature.

For their next release, Kniteforce Again introduces a brand new addition to the label's artist roster in the form of Demcore, who debuts with 'The Demise E.P. (Executive Edition)'. Featuring 6 thumping upfront hardcore tracks peppered with lashings of kickdrums and euphoric hands-in-the-air synths.

From the trancecore styled, rallying call track 'The Noise' which opens the EP with an infectiously uplifting synth melody and pulsing 4/4 beat, and it's equally euphoric partner 'Life Is Nothing But Timing'. The electro-house tinged belter that is 'Always Been Much More Than That (Hardcore Maniac)' and the cheeky 'Star Wars' sampling 'Superman III', which features a monolithic trance breakdown.

To the epic sounding rap sampling and stab infused 'Grind Everyday' and the closing track, 'I Did That By Nature', with it's clever breakbeat accentuations. 'The Demise E.P.' is an intricately and expertly crafted collection of energetic dancefloor bangers and clearly shows that Demcore will be a welcome addition to KFA as well as being a hardcore force to be reckoned with in the near future.

For those who are quick enough to purchase the Executive Edition, in addition to the 2 bonus tracks there is also an exclusive Demcore WAV sample pack for all producer to have a tinker with.

The Demcore 'Demise E.P.' is available to download as an exclusive 6-Track Executive Edition release for 4 weeks only, before tracks 5 & 6 are deleted from sale. So get in there early to avoid missing out. It's available for a measly $6.50 (that's approximately £4.15 UK money!), so no excuse not to!!! Follow the link below.

[KFA64] Various Artists - The True Skool E.P. 10 (Executive Edition) [OUT NOW!!!]

1/ MC Frikshon & Invader – Venom.
2/ Idealz – Blow Ya Mind.
3/ Radiophonic Oddity – Who Are We.
4/ Empeyreal – Highly Ludicrous.
Executive Edition Tracks:
5/ Idealz – Hiya!!
6/ Dj Luna-C – Bounce Me Baby.

Kniteforce Again returns with a brand new 'TheTrue Skool E.P.', now in it's tenth incarnation' to open 2015 with. Featuring a genre-spanning collection of 6  tracks in the early bird Executive Edition to tickle your eardrums with.

'The True Skool E.P. 10' opens with a new addition to the Kniteforce Again roster, in the form of MC Frikshon & Invader and their genre twisting, vocal driven 'Venom'. It's a hard hitting track which straddles a fine line between acid breaks and trance infused hardcore to great effect, and evokes an invigorating atmosphere in Frikshon's demands that their 'beats infect like venom, racing through your veins like a lethal injection'. Idealz steps into the arena next with the bass heavy, roughneck jungle stepper that is 'Blow Ya Mind'. Laced with rap vocals, rugged breaks and techno bleeps Idealz fulfils his track title's promise to literally 'Blow Ya Mind'.

Radiophonic Oddity offers up the question 'Who Are We'? with his contribution to the EP. A deep, tribal sounding drum & bass number with huge atmospheric synths, thundering amen breaks and a massive acid-trance steeped drop. The EP heads into lighter territory from here with Emperyal's 'Highly Ludicrous' which take hardcore into the realms of fantasy with the vocal excerpt introducing 'his Excellency the King of sub-bass kingdom' and utilises an intricately spliced, helium vocal melody over pounding 4/4 kickdrums and gentle pianos.

Idealz returns once again with his take on hardcore-techno with the excellent 'Hiya!!', which combines growling sawtooth bass, techno-breaks and a massive 'hands-in-the-air' piano melody with euphoric 'take you higher' vocals. And to round things off Dj Luna-C returns with a true to form maniacal hardcore number entitled 'Bounce Me Baby'. An amalgamation of thumping kicks, reversed bass throbs, twisting acid bassline, mental 'Phantom Of The Opera on E' piano section and eclectic vocals (hello 'Family Guy'!).

All in all an astounding start to the new year for Kniteforce Again, and as with all releases, the 6-Track Executive Edition of 'The True Skool E.P. 10' will only be available as a bundle for a short while before only becoming available as individual tracks with tracks 5 & 6 being deleted from sale. The EP is available from the Kniteforce Revolution webstore  using the link below for $6.50 (£4.43 UK money!). Be sure to check out the soundclip for a taster of the music featured...

(Executive Edition Only - Available Until May 19th Only)

05 - RidingLow.

After a quiet start to 2014 and following on from December's 'Hella Hardcore E.P', the legendary Kniteforce Again label releases their latest release, the 'Random EP' from Idealz & Shift. A change from the last batch of Kniteforce Again EP's which focused focussed on high energy breakbeat and hardcore styles. The 'Random EP' features 4 tracks (plus 3 Executive Edition only bonus tracks) across the jungle/drum & bass spectrum, from the moody D&B stepper 'LowRider', the excellent dubby 140 jungle vibes of 'On And On' to the amen rinse out that is 'You To Be'.

In accordance to Kniteforce Again's philosophy of giving more to their customers Idealz & Shift's 'Random EP' is available as an Executive Edition release up until May 19th and features 3 extra tracks which will be removed from the EP after that date. It is highly recommended to get in there early to pick up the reworked opening track, RidingLow. The dark stepper 'RIP' and dubstep revamp of Kniteforce classic 'Piano Progression'.

Safe to say that with Idealz & Shift, Kniteforce Again is back to cause damage.

KFA59 Idealz & Shift - Random E.P (Executive Edition) is available from the www.kniteforcerevolution.com shop until May 19th for only $6 (that's a measly £3.74!!!).
