Breaking Saints is the name of a new collaboration between Deejay LoK and Dan Lethal, two old college friends, who teamed up through this imprint in order to deliver either solo or collab works under a mutual passion and culture.
Deejay LoK has been djing for the last 25 years and he's the official DJ for MysDiggi (ex Mystro), while the Drum & Bass dj/producer, Dan Lethal (aka Lethal) carries the same musical passion, managing also the label of Surround Sound Recordings. Eventually, a multigenre taste of sounds has led them two to release something extravaganza within the Nu-Rave scene.
" Returning to our 7” series of old skool rave inspired releases comes the Breaking Saints duo, comprising of Dan Lethal & Deejay LoK. Here they deliver a hefty, vibes a plenty, breakbeat bomber known as 'Swanning About'. They both take a side each and give it their own mix, Dan's rolling with a tuff rave ready bleepy mash up killer, whilst LoK steps the tempo up a notch and brings the breaks into an early jungle techno style, with rave stabs and more big ass bass dropping in half way through. Airhorn crew where u at?!! " - Concrete Castle Dubs
In contrast with Dan Lethal, who has already released through vinyl, this is the first vinyl release of LoK and it got him very excited and energized to keep up things. It's a fact that the boys have been already working on the next material.
However, this time Concrete Castle Dubs delivers something not for the faint-hearted. Bare in mind that this EP comes out on an orange & black splatter 7" pressing in a clear polybag, mastered by Sumgii. Also, it comes with a bespoke Concrete Castle Dubs sticker while stocks last. Of course, there is also the digital option.
'Swanning About' is the name of this great new super weapon that marks one of the best sophisticated releases of this year. None would ever sleep on a new project held by two hungry and inspired men through a remarkable label run by the don Disorda.
Add to that the great deal of Concrete Castle Dubs joining the KFD (Kniteforce Distribution) membership.
