AA - Drum Cypha - Got To Let Go.
Criterion Records are back once again to deliver yet another fine selection of premiere quality, atmospheric jungle on limited edition, 12" vinyl. For the label's thirteenth excursion we are presented with the double A-Side release, 'Jungle Soul / Got To Let Go' from two of scene's most prominent breakbeat innovators, Phuture-T and Drum Cypha.
The celestial opening sounds of Phuture-T's epic 'Jungle Soul' greets the listener with a gorgeous blend of soothing female vocals and soaring strings before unleashing a veritable barrage of frenetically sliced and diced amen breaks and thunderous, sub-bass booms.
On the flipside, Drum Cypha takes us on a deep bass excursion, with the stirringly emotive, 'Got To Let Go' which combines tearing amens, dub soundscapes and earth shaking, rhythmical bass which are perfectly contrasted with soulful male vocals and heavenly pads.
Once again, Criterion Records in collaboration with Phuture-T and Drum Cypha deliver another beautifully crafted slice of atmospheric, yet heavyweight jungle/drum & bass on wax that will become an essential purchase for all vinyl DJ's and collectors out there.
The limited edition 'Jungle Soul / Got To Let Go' 12" vinyl is available to purchase now for €10.00 Euros (+ P&P) from the Criterion Records webstore link below, and has been mastered by legendary Drum & Bass producer Sappo, courtesy of Sappo Mastering. So expect nothing but the best in sound quality!!!
