New signings, new breed for the Aussie Detrimental Audio label. This time, Gary Barking collaborates with Errorrythm. Two newbie artists crafting junglistic vibes and 90s rave rhythms. Gary made his debut on Detrimental with 'Bob's Your Dad' EP  and none can forget the unforgettable raving chipmunks on the self-titled tune; and now gets it even harder with '125'. One of the best Jungle Techno-ish tracks put out during this year. It has the right energy made under Gary's wings and music passion. A track which evokes the Oldskool flavour and has been revisited ideally by Errorrythm dispatched into 144 BPM of deep and intensive breakbeats strictly for the headstrong crew. Last but not least, there's their collaborative adventure on 'Meadow' an odd mellow tune divided in two parts. From the Trip Hop introduction part, drawing on to the deep breakbeats into a total length of 6 minutes joint.

Aussie based Tokyo Noir (ex-Kolanek) is well known and beloved from our team by his last year's hit "Your Love", which spotted on a high level. Now mr. 160bpm returns with his first personal release of 2017 out on his good local mates label, DETRIMENTAL AUDIO.
"DOPAMINE" consists of 3 tunes, 2 original ones by Tokyo Noir and a remix on the self titled tune by label manager Token. This EP is out on digital format and can be easiuly described as a happy ravey presented by footwork/hardcore junglistic rhythms!

DETA009:: Kolanek x Tokyo Noir - Your Love/Optics [DETRIMENTAL AUDIO]

Big ting rinse out!

A young must-to-watch Jungle label, like DETRIMENTAL AUDIO from Australia, returns with a supreme Jungle release displayed in 2 different parts by 2 seriously good tunes wrapped up with mentality.

This time, Aussie producer KOLANEK is the suspect on this fresh digital release offering an incredible rave footwork anthem called 'Your Love', which I'm a big fan of it, and already supporting it via my radio show as well. Must be the best in its kind for the year 2016!

Second and final track off this personal release is titled 'Optics'. This tune a proper jungle badass vibe and worth to mention that it got supported by the legendary DJ TRAX on his radio show.

Do you think that it's all done with this one?

[DETA006] Pickleman - Black Mountain Motel [DETRIMENTAL AUDIO]

Melbourne has the right answer screaming it loud and proud to all Junglists and IDM fans out there! A young Jungle label like Detrimental Audio delivers its 6th release so far, driven by class and mental steps of Aussie producer Pickleman (a.k.a Dan White).

Digging a lot what Pickleman has done in here, proper work in all 8 tunes featured.

You can literally notice, after giving several plays on this EP that Pickleman has been experimenting thought different influences like Aphex Twin or Squarepusher and even '90s Jungle style, while succeed keeping that vibe alive on his productions. 

Excellent release with highlight fav tunes 'Prime Suspect/Mendax/Trax' and 'M0Dm0dM0D' tho all of this EP is some really interesting stuff to hear, closing with attractive endings bleeps of 'The Realm'.
