The Jungle Rollerz are back with a vengeance and this time they bring label newcomer Ilk along for a vinyl ride alongside familiar favourites KeeZee and Necrotype.

First off we have Ilk who takes us back to the mid nineties with the menacing ‘We Don’t Know’. Where rugged, hardstep breaks layered with ruffneck gangsta rap vocals and heavyweight bass tones ruled the jungle. This one’s not for the lightweight junglist.
Keezee’s ‘Burst Into Fire’ presents us with an intense combination of rolling Amens and Apache breaks accentuated by heavenly, soaring strings and an infectious, booming bassline melody. Perfectly capturing the vintage vibes of a certain drum & bass ‘Headz’ label.

Bonus track, ‘Fang & Claw’ by Necrotype delivers an eerie synth intro peppered with lycanthropic horror flick samples before unleashing a barrage of layered and FX-ed amen breaks, growling mentasm stabs and subsonic bass booms. A masterful piece of neo-darkcore, junglism.

Brighton's premier jungle label, Jungle Rollerz present two gargantuan slabs of junglistic darkness on wax with the imminent release of 'Rollerz Vol 3', eaturing the return of Necrotype and the introduction of label newcomer KeeZee. 

Necrotype drops ‘The Stranger’ on the A-Side, which opens with a barrage of brain searing hoover stabs which flash like laser beams over a succession of rugged, layered breakbeats, sinister bass growls and iconic revenge flick dialogue. 'The Stranger' culminates in a massive mentasm led drop a third of the way through which is guaranteed to give you goosebumps.

The flipside continues on with the dark and moody vibe with KeeZee's heavyweight, amen assault, ‘Renegade Junglist'. Melding intricately chopped breakbeat edits, moody bass throbs, snippets of classic ragga chat and ethereal, female vocal sighs to atmospheric synths and strings to create a tearing piece of percussive craftsmanship to please all serious jungle and drum & bass headz.

Brighton based vinyl only jungle label, Jungle Rollerz introduce their third 12" vinyl, and the first in a series of remixes based on previous releases. 'RZ Remixes Vol 1' sees Hailon and Junglistic from 'Rollerz Vol 1' receive drastic overhauls from two talented newcomers to the label, Threts and X Nation.

Hailon’s ‘Dub Warz’ is first up to gets the remix treatment from the first of two of Brighton's finest jungle producers Threts, who mashes up the classic dub skank of the original and throws it down over a pounding 2-step, D&B break and techy bass growl to create a menacing combination of dirty jungle and razor sharp drum & bass.

On the flipside, X Nation provides an epic and intense overhaul of Junglistic’s ‘Who Is It’, by merging the G-Funk and hip-hop flavour of  the original mix with thundering, junglistic amen break edits and rumbling bass manipulations that would put Dillinja to shame. An epic revisioning with devastating dancefloor capability.

All in all, two modern jungle classic are given two solid makeovers to satisfy the needs of even the most jaded jungle head. You need this in your jungle collection!!!

Following on from last year's 12" release from Hailon and Junglistic, the Jungle Rollerz label brings us two more brand new, oldskool influenced drum & bass/jungle tracks on black wax.

 

Necrotype offers up a serious blend of thundering basslines, dark hardcore stabs and tearing, chopped up amen breaks with 'Bright Light', like a perfect cross between the dirty techstep of 1996 and 1993 darkcore. Junglistic on the flipside offers up a gorgeous combination of ruff and rolling jungle breaks and soaring emotive synths on 'Rhythm & Culture'. Two absolutely essential tracks on the one vinyl.
