Coco Bryce kicks off the new year in his usual prolific fashion, continuing to push past boundaries and explore new sonic territories. This time, he sets the tone for a fresh three-track EP on his Rythmoi Tou Kosmou side label, diving into a fusion of ethnic influences and classic jungle energy.
We were lucky enough to receive an early promo and were instantly struck by ‘Bir Allah’ - a bold reinterpretation of Greek rebetiko, propelled by his wildly chopped breakbeats. ‘Klezmer Crew’ follows with a slightly off-kilter rave workout, full of playful melodic twists and driving percussion. Closing track ‘Labyrinth’ channels the spirit of 1980s German synth experimentation, weaving shimmering, interlocking motifs over a rugged barrage of breaks.
Across the EP, Bryce seamlessly blends folk traditions, global textures, and forward-charging drum & bass. This EP is worth every single penny and a must-to-get to your collection.
In Coco we trust!
