The year 1996, DJ X-cess has collaborated with DJ Fade delivering an amazing 2-track EP on Burning Bush Communications. 'Feel The Rain' was one of those superb stompy Hardcore tracks of the label, something that would be an omen to the future...
Today, 25 years after this release, DJ X-cess (a.k.a. Matthew Harris) has returned to the same label with some new music! And why not... Things have changed; have evolved and there's an outstanding new breed of Hardcore out there with new ideas, labels and artists.
A. Music is MovingAA. Rise Up
Just for the record, DJ X-cess used to be 1/2 of Organ Donors, UK hard dance act alongside his brother Scott. The producer is well chuffed of his new release, hence he posted a foto depiction of his excitement as he holds his first and his brand new vinyl on Burning Bush Communications.
"Releasing music on vinyl has and always will be a very special feeling.
On the top is my first ever release on Burning Bush Communications, a Breakbeat /Hardcore Rave label from the 90’s. On the bottom is my latest release and the first of many to come for the newly reestablished label almost 26 years later, under my old name DJ Xcess.
And pressed on green vinyl for a proper throw back.
It’s so refreshing and nostalgic to be making oldskool hardcore again but with a modern twist, and to be reigniting a name that was so good to me in the early stages of my career" (Source)
In addition, check out above some exclusive words from Def Star to our Blog, about what's coming out from them:
