Amen Theory Records from Manchester is one of the recent entries within the Jungle & Drum & Bass scene, keeping it strictly Oldskool and releasing now an outstanding EP on the same tip.
It's the man like DJ Nest from Greece. An 8-bit Junglist, that should be in your scope from now on, on the grounds of his impeccable new EP collab with Ellis Palmer, manager of Amen Theory, who's also mastered the whole release.
The EP is comprised of five old but gold tunes compiling the 'Euphoria EP'.
All tunes are made throughout his early production days late 90's and so, with loads of passion and mainly, his relentless Amiga love; for instance the latest production track called 'War In The Jungle' made with Digibooster pro software and Vampire accelerated Amiga 600. The rest of the other 4 tracks are made with Protracker.
From blending samples of film scores such as 'The Exorcist' or 'James Bond' to his inspirational circa '96-'97 Drum & Bass vibes, DJ Nest will continue his passion with future collabs with Amiga Junglism and Comatron.
Till then, enjoy his first official EP via Bandcamp and keep on your notes that Bandcamp have recently decided to waive their fees for every first Friday of each month for the next 3 months, starting from 1st May. So all made for a good cause during this hard period and every purchase goes directly to the labels/artists.
