For those who still hanker for those heady days of 1992 where the music consisted of exhilarating rave stab patterns, eclectic music samples and rapidfire breakbeats, then there is a brand new debut release from the newly formed Music Rascals label. Featuring three monster hardcore breaks, future classics from the twisted minds of nuskool veterans, Silverfox and Cronin. 

The 'Manic EP' kicks off to a thundering start with the stab heavy sample smorgasbord that is 'Manic', featuring a plethora of stab melodies and ragga/hip-hop samples laid over a ruffneck oldkool hardcore breakbeat to get you raising your hands in the air in euphoria.'Take Me Away' up next ramps up the feelgood vibes by adding classic rave diva vocals to breakneck speed amen breaks and thumping bass throbs backed up by a sublime piano melody. The EP is bookended by the equally heavyweight and uplifting 'Hear This Bitch' which adds Hyper-On Experience style stabs, classic vocal samples and crunching breakage to the mix.
