Once again entering my lovely section like the 'Top 10 of the Week' as presented on my radio show. This show (4th November 2014) was about blending hardcore breaks/mutant bass/footwork jungle/juke with lots of freshness representing the Nu-Rave spirit! As said before in here, all selected tracks are put on a random row just to be fair with all producers.
First tune to display comes from Swedish producer, Captain Raveman aka Negrobeat (past alias) reworking on juke stylee the legendary 'Out of Space' from the Prodigy, as Japanese producer/dj Guchon (Sabacan Records) follows the same Juke way on Rusko's piano roller 'Somebody To Love'. Simply a sick rework!! Next track from the tops is one more remix, this time from Hull's finest nu-rave representer like Pursuit who gives his tearing ruff edits on the 'Pennywise' by Neuromancer.
When SR & Digbee decide to do oldskool breakbeat vibes, the result is always impressive. A true example is their fresh 4track EP set up to make all oldskoolholics to fall in love with this release and featured tune of the show is the '93 like buzzin titled 'Zoom Zoom' [Double Dipped EP/36HERTZ Recordings]. Going to number 6 and a skillful producer like Vitality (based in California) who's back to the releases, after being already on KFA, Hardcore Lives Records, this time offering a bomb to Polish label, Intensive Recordings part of the 7track massive 'Rebel EP' from Oneplayz feat. Martyna Siermińska. The number 5 is a mental jungle breaks smasher like 'Bring it Back' from Galvatron out now on the mighty Kode 5 Recordings while number 4 is a part of Dred Collective x Footwork Jungle 10track album titled 'RAVE 2.0' and 'Feel Me' from The Renegades is really lovely vibe as a kind of mixture from the past to the future of rave sense. Class Footwork Rave, you must check out this producer if you haven't already (especially all fans of this kind)! DJ FX is sitting on number 3 on a 'Diabolical' tune featured on a Huge 'free dl halloween' Album from 8205 Recordings and props of course to all producers involved & Dev/Null as the main brain behind this release. Number 2 is one more dark tune, this time from Abyss and Switchblade Digital on the 13th digital release. Abyss is running an amazing year with class tunes, setting up his digital and vinyl label and deserves everyone's attention. True guy in the scene! Last tune to display takes you around mid90s. An anthem like 'Block Rockin Beats' from the masterminds Chemical Brothers reminds me of this respected 90s BigBeat period, and Simon Iridium's fair play to this anthem by making it harder and tougher!
