[VMRDT078] Laydee Virus - Artificial Lockup [Available From All Good Viral-Mental Records Digital Stockists Now!!!]

1/ Reverse Dimensions (VIP Mix).

2/ Artificial Lockup.

After a near nine month hiatus from the Viral-Mental Recordings label, the Laydee Virus is back to bring some more neuro-funk darkness with the release of the brand new 'Artificial Lockup' single.

Opening track 'Reverse Dimensions (VIP Mix)' takes us back to an era when the likes of Ed Rush + Optical's 'Wormhole LP' ruled the drum & bass scene. With it's fusion of razor sharp, kick-drum enhanced,  2-step breaks and dual, warped bass riffs, the 'Reverse Dimensions (VIP Mix)' conjures up visions of a lithe, bio-mechanical, tech-step beast stalking the dancefloor for it's next victim.
To conclude the single we are then introduced to the menacing, atmospheric sci-fi sounds of title track, 'Artificial Lockup', where industrial drones, clicks and blips do battle with bass heavy, machine like thumps and intricate, skittish breaks.

Laydee Virus proves yet again that she is not afraid to take us in a deep and dark direction with this duo of heavyweight drum & bass belters. Not for the lightweight!!!

The Laydee Virus' 'Artificial Lockup' single is available to purchase now from all good Viral-Mental Records digital stockists.

The almighty Greek conspiracy of Breaks consisting of Motivbreaks and V.I.M. Records is back with a new installment and a full on rolling flavour of ...Salonica (which is label & producers hometown)!
This time the label introduces to us all, a fresh signed producer/DJ, the man like Shy Nee who's the frontman on the new chapter on V.I.M. Breaks successful Bronze edition of releases aiming to revisit Oldskool Jungle & Breaks at the time being!

Shy Nee first personal release on V.I.M is titled "Shadows EP" included by 2 original tracks from him and one remix.
The highlight of this EP is by far his very own"Beyond The Planet" (Jungle/DnBish 160bpm) placed by a chaotic bassline 130 bpm remix by label's resident Motivbreaks and one more new tune from Shy Nee called "Badman Gun" which steps right on 140bpm future jungle sounds!
