PRMP3009:: 1st Science VS Mellow Dee - The Re-Match [PARANOID RECORDINGS]

Paranoid Recordings celebrate Xmas time with a brand new release, strictly nu-rave and hardcore breaks as always. Swedish producer 1st Science meets once again Mellow Dee from Canada and give a second hardcore round after their last EP which was released a month ago
(PRMP3008> Free DL: www.mediafire.com/?y6u2t1629q9edw2)

Mellow Dee made his first appearance to the Nu-Rave scene in 2008 when his tune 'Music of our Lives' was featured on JRS 'The PianoBreaks EP', while 1st Science is still on the hardcore buzz since 2004. Two essential warriors and well known suspects have set up this 6track dish for all the masses! ....Oldskool is here, still alive! It's just the ReMatch..

Props again to the main brains behind all PR stuff like DJ Gaffer & RenegadeGenius

[PRMP3008] Paranoid Recordings Presents - 1st Science Vs Mellow Dee - The Main Event [FREE 6-TRACK 320 MP3 EP]

1st Science

1/ Coming Up Good (Vocal Mix).

2/ Ghetto Bastard.

3/ Juno Bass.

Mellow Dee

4/ Jazz Monk (Original Mix).

5/ Cats Eye Nebula.

6/ After Hours (Original Mix).

Hot off the heels of the 'Paranoid Recordings Volume 10' compilation in October, the long standing hardcore breaks label offers up another free release, this time a 6 track joint EP from artists 1st science and Mellow Dee.

1st Science begins the 'Main Event EP' with the uplifting, hands-in-the-air piano fest, 'Coming Up Good (Vocal Mix)' which adds classic breakbeat vibes to some very cheekily soul vocal sampling. 'Ghetto Bastard' follows next and brings a hip-hop hardcore attitude, with some clever usage of explicit and killer dubby effects. 'Juno Bass' rounds off 1st Science's offerings with an authentic oldskool bassline and crunching breaks to great effect.

EP partner, Mellow Dee provides some smooth oldskool, jazzy atmospheric jungle on 'Jazz Monk', which combines mellow Rhodes keys with gentle piano licks and relaxed, yet rolling breaks. 'Cats Eye Nebula' steps into deeper, darker jungle territory with twisted, foghorn bass blasts and rugged amens. Final track of the EP, 'After Hours' provides a 1993, junglistic take on the hardcore sound and borrows nicely from Baby D too.

6 seriously effective tracks from 2 well established produces. There's no excuse not to get on this EP A.S.A.P.
