Kniteforce Prime goes back to square one

If we see what's happening the last couple of years in the evolution of the underground rave music, the result indicates a fusion of tracks of 120-140 bpm range, bass & breaks, hoovers and oldskool pianos. Advocates would claim that we're living in a contemporary '91. Life is a circle, so it's with music. With all things considered, the legendary Kniteforce Records have set up a brand new sub-label called... Kniteforce Prime.

The word 'prime' stands for 'original' or 'first' as the KF header, Chris Luna-C, has stated on one of his recent blogs. It's the new hub that will embrace the sounds of the early 90s kind of bleepy techno as well as the slower piano and breakbeat vibes. Also, it's the indispensable sound that inspired a lot Luna-C to set up his Industries of Blend moniker and an era that he's very familiar with from back in the day.

The label aims to follow the ethos to represent the early rave sound and cause a wordlwide massive '91 interest to the fans out there. There are amazing forthcoming releases with acts such as Children Of The Sun God, Liquid, Sunshine Productions, Rise Of Empires, Alias 303 and many others. However, the priming 'Prime' release has just unveiled with a very well-known UK act, a great talent. Innercore, is more than proud to debut these 'Prime' releases with his personal 'Alpha Junk EP' drive full of synths, breaks, pianos, hoovers...
"The ethos of KF Prime is something that is going to be so good for this scene. Like Chris has mentioned before, there is alot of (New)Old Skool being made which focuses more on the faster up-tempo side of things. KF Prime is all about stripping things back to basics, slowing down the tempo, and really experimenting with original synths and sounds. And giving a nod to the producers of yesteryear that started this amazing music for us back in the late 80's / 90's (to many to list here!). Back in the early 90's I started listening to rave music, however I was just a bit too young to actually go to the raves. I always thought it will be too late by the time I'm actually old enough and writing music (which at the time seemed an impossible task), so I can't say how exciting it is to be actually putting this music out for the next generation. I also think the KF Prime sound will blend in perfectly with the older rave tunes, so they will be a good DJ tool and 100% get the plays they deserve. And I have to quote this which I heard MC Robbie Dee say on a rave mix from the 90's - "and they said hardcore, would die.....hardcore will never die" - Innercore

Apparently, Matt from Innercore doesn't lose his Hardcore substance at all, on his new work. 'Alpha Junk EP' is simply monstrous and you could easily tell that it could be placed somewhere in a 1991 capsule and flourished to something bigger. From the self-titled track that's filled up with prodigized energy to the big piano of 'Back 2 Da Top', and the euro-friendly 'Hard Wired', which is a proper Oldskool Techno track and the closing 'Music From Within' with its big hands-in-the-air pianos and acid lines.
"I can remember sending this EP (or the first couple of tunes anyway) like it was yesterday. I was on a caravan holiday in 2020 with my Wife and child in Devon somewhere during the coronavirus lockdown. One evening I was sat in the club house (at social distances!) and Chris popped up in my Facebook messages, saying "these tunes are exceptional, and I'm starting a 'slower' label"....anb that was that really, I'd locked in the first release of Kniteforce Prime aka KFPrime. It is such a huge honor to be the first release of this label and kicking it off, and I know Chris already has a back log of tunes in these styles for the label." recalls Matt, as he has already submitted his next Prime EP sharing his excitement for this type of sound.

"Chris will message me sometimes asking, "can you do a KFPrime style remix of this" and I instantly know what he is looking for. Keep an eye on this label, and get your ears ready for some amazing tunes!" - Innercore
