Death Of A Rock Star Podcast:: KEITH FLINT

Our recommendation for this weekend is this exquisite podcast paying homage and tribute to the only and only Keith Flint from The Prodigy. The original and first of all Firestarter.
Noteworthy to mention and praise the team behind this podcast, doing a great work, namely it's been written by Tom Fordyce (https://twitter.com/tomfordyce) mixed by Phill Brown (https://twitter.com/escapingbrown) and presented ideally by Spoonface (https://twitter.com/Spoonface1).
Sources and archives are taken from BBC, The Face, Q Magazine, Select, Guardian and a few others.
All in all, the narration presented is top quality and it takes you from Keith's oldskool days to the last days of his personal 'escapism' for a legend who was quite different from the rest. About a man you think you know, when you barely knew him...

"WARNING: this episode includes references to suicide.
He was maybe the last pop star who could scare grannies and make kids cry. Keith Flint looked like Johnny Rotten mixed with Freddie Krueger. He snarled rather than sang. The tabloids wanted his records banned. But the real Keith was a very different man - and the story of this lost kid’s life and sad death are both endearing and deeply moving."
