The mighty Droma makes a welcome return to Viral-Mental Records, bringing with him a bumper collection of upfront jungle and D&B sounds with the release of the 'Into The Jungle EP'.

The opening track takes us right 'Into The Jungle', 2019 stylee and lures you in with it's soaring, retrospective pads interspersed with gangstadelic, rap vocals before landing a deadly combo attack of menacing bass drones and crisp, 2-step breaks.

'Dual Combat' up next leads us down a darker, drum & bass path utilising skeletal breakbeats enhanced with amen fills, cavernous subsonic growls and evocative, pitch black atmospherics.

2018's 'Free Your Spirit' by Dr Prozak receives an intoxicating, minimalist DROMA rework, which whilst keeping the original's haunting, Middle Eastern elements, winds back the jungle flavours and in turn injects a moody, D&B template in it's place.  

Hi-octane  beats and bass are the order of the day with 'Fear Of The Jungle', which delivers rapid-fire amen breaks over an infectious bassline, further enhanced by foreboding movie dialogue samples.

Rounding off our selection we have the exquisite 'Vivid Imagination' which provides a contemporary update on that vintage jungle format with it' use of skipping 'Think' breaks, luscious pads and shimmering synth flourishes.
