" The Nu Skool Volume 3 Presents: Breakbeat Scientist!
After many years of being obsessed with electronic music, especially those which fell under the hardcore, jungle, drum & bass and hardcore breaks genres, and providing regular music reviews for the Strictly Nu-Skool Blog, the Breakbeatscientist alter-ego came into fruition upon my first tentative steps into music production in February 2013. The Breakbeatscientist "sound" is heavily based on the menacing darkcore style of hardcore and jungle which ruled the pirate radio airwaves from late 1992-1994 and the classic tech-step from late 1995-1997. "
